This is sort of a boring topic, I’m starting to think but I’ll go on anyway.
It took me several years of getting paint on my hands among other places to realize I really should be wearing gloves, so that is what I did. I use the kind as you can see in my videos, you’d get at hardware stores for around $4.85 or maybe more. I don’t know what they’re called but they are most likely called workman’s gloves. I put on one at a time, as in I only put on one, for the time I’m painting. That is, on my hand that holds the paint brush and holds the paint and tries to unscrew the bottle. These bottles by the way, Harding if you are seeing this are hard to unscrew/unlodge/ take off the top especially while in the middle of painting when you impatiently try to. But yes the gloves have saved my hands over the years. Gloves on both hands is ideal actually but wearing one on the painting hand usually suffices.
